The full fibre service with Zen that is delivered over the CityFibre network, aims to transform the digital landscape in Nottingham, offering unprecedented speeds and reliability that will make buffering and slow internet connections a relic of the past.
Charlie Kitchin, CityFibre’s partnership manager for Nottingham, said: "We are delighted to be working in partnership with Zen to help people across the country enjoy excellent full fibre broadband, and we look forward to connecting more and more homes across Nottingham to our full fibre network." Zen’s contract price promise is particularly noteworthy. Although some other providers may have recently enforced inflation-linked mid-contract price rises, Zen guarantees no mid-contract price increases on its residential broadband packages.
In December, Ofcom announced a proposal to ban inflation-linked mid-contract price rises, with a formal decision expected soon. Meanwhile, customers of some other major providers have already experienced contract price hikes of up to 8.8% as recently as April. "We also have a huge ethical focus putting people and the planet ahead of financial return for shareholders."
