Dozens of animals were seized Tuesday from a property in Sunbury as part of an investigation into alleged cruelty and neglect.Delaware County Sheriff's deputies assisted officers with the Humane Society of Delaware County, seizing 75 live animals, including turkeys, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and dogs.The Humane Society says animals removed showed signs they did not have proper nutrition and care.Officers discovered signs of cock-fighting on the 11-acre property.
The 75 live animals seized have been taken to the Delaware County Humane Society, where they will be evaluated to determine what kind of care they will receive.
