KUALA LUMPUR: The Selangor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) arrested the former chief financial officer and the former chief operating officer of a real estate company on suspicion of submitting false payment claim documents for about RM100,000.

PETALING JAYA: Selangor are hopeful that they will not be burdened with heavy sanctions by the Malaysian Football League for pulling out of the Charity Shield game.

“MFL will discuss further with the board of directors, so we are waiting to see what’s going to be done next,” said Shahril.“As it is, the club have gone through a lot with all the security uncertainties and the threats that happened to our team members. It is time we move forward and see what can be done to improve the situation.”
