Emergency services rushed to the scene on Tummel Street in the Riddrie area of the city. Another added: "Aw my heart goes out to Joe, Mary, and the three kids. Maxine was such a sweet lassie." A third commenter said: "So heartbreaking. R.I.P Maxine, my thoughts are with Mary Joe and the kids. So sad." Officers have charged a 32-year-old man in connection with Maxine's tragic death. He is due to appear in court on Monday . A report is due to be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of Maxine Clark in Riddrie, Glasgow."Around 7.40pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024, police received a report of a woman found seriously injured within a property on Tummel Street."Her family are aware."A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
