Some 60 years after the architect's death, it still makes news when a Frank Lloyd Wright home hits the market. A look at some current listings.

When Kim Bixler was 8, her family moved into a Rochester, N.Y., home built in 1908 by the architect Frank Lloyd Wright. They acquired the property in an unusual deal: The couple swapped their home for the Wright house after seeing it on a tour. The agreement, negotiated over a dinner, ultimately put a value of about $110,000 on the home, which Ms. Bixler describes as Prairie-style, with an open floor plan, low-pitched roof and prominent eaves.

Does the roof leak

Yes, here in Wisconsin, FLW had several understudies and they designed many homes in regular neighborhoods. Mr Wright’s influence can be seen in them even though they are not technically his work.
