We’ve already delayed the completion date but the 70-year-old seller says they can’t move then either due to Covid-19 risks

Q On 1 March, we exchanged contacts on the house we are buying with a completion date of 27 March. However, the government lockdown meant that the seller was unable to move because the removal company cancelled the job.

We just ‘had’ to move because we had exchanged pre-lockdown and our buyers were holding us to it - work stopped on our new build. Stressful as we are now in ST rental we didn’t budget for and we were questioned by the police en route!

Property is going to Bomb , people will be losing money from house purchases . Dont see why we shouldnt be able to move so long as its safe .
