Rural real estate prices rise as people consider leaving cities.

For individuals, it could actually be good news. Americans are notorious for running up credit card debt that can leave them in a lurch when the economy dips. With debit cards they are only spending money they have, not future money they may or may not receive.

A remarkable 75 percent of those surveyed said they have “tried a new shopping behavior” during the pandemic out of convenience, value or availability. And, maybe more important, more than 70 percent of those people said they plan to stick to that behavior when the crisis is past. The Realtor.com figures, which compared this June to June of 2019, found that homes in rural and suburban zip codes saw the biggest jump in average views per property. Homes in urban zip codes had a 19 percent increase in views compared to last year. But homes in suburban zip codes had a much larger 30 percent jump. And homes in rural zip codes saw a 34 percent increase in views.

That is hardly news. Real estate realized decades ago that people who sold city property had no way to value rural property and gouged them. Local property owners followed suit.

Where do you think the pleasant people of the left will go next?

That's because democrats have run the cities into the fucking ground....

Remember in November

Fleeing the effects of diversity

Can't tell you many from my Upper West Side, NYC block have disappeared. Not moi. No where to go.

beware Rural America, cover is coming, do you know who you are with? take a lesson from the recovering Hawai'i Island limit your outings to essentials, wear a mask, sanitize often

Will these people leave their leftist politics in the city, or will they ruin rural America by forcing the same leftist policies on rural America, that ruined American cities?

Most of us just want to leave this country but no one wants our failed, virus riddled souls.

This will, and definitely be true for NYC!

Figures!!

Fine, but don’t bring your leftist politics that made you leave with you! Remember what made you leave!

Cue the rural people crying about it.

Yep. Those large cities can stuff it! Their tax bases are leaving if they are NOT safe!!

Now why would anyone consider leaving riot-torn, looted cities?

Great, just don’t bring your shitty voting preferences (liberal Democrat) with you. You’ve already destroyed your last home.

We're full. Sorry.

Color me surprised

Less traffic/neighbors

So rural places will no longer be rural 🤣😭

这样的房子🏠真漂亮!

Why r they leaving Hmmm is it because of Trump lmao

Gee I wonder why

It seems an city with over 3 million population is just a terrible place to live - high crime rate, ineffective government - high taxes There must be some point where excessive population overwhelms effective governance

City people vote dem. They hate the way their cities are run and what they’re turning into. They move to the country where people vote republican and they bring their shitty politics with them. Not very bright.

It’s common sense, fresh air, good food and not Neighbour’s.

Just One of my views. Not one city cell in my body. Y’all can have ALL that mess! 😊

Wait until they find out that rural internet is, for the most part, horrificly bad

Nope.

I’m in!!

Democrat policies running people off. People in the country DO NOT WANT SCUMBAG DEMOCRATS MOVING CLOSE TO THEM. STAY IN THE CITIES YOU'VE RUINED.

yeah that wont last.

Without holiness, no one will see the LORD. Messiah is coming soon. WorldwideSundayRevival

And voting for Trump. Thanks to the Liberal media.

I love nature as much as the next person, but I'm watching the numbers go up in rural counties and they don't have hospitals. Utterly confused.

Elijah Is Here And you want to see you can see

I live in a ghost town. All the perks of city living without the people.
