At least 189 people have died and four million are without homes across India, Nepal and Bangladesh after monsoonal rains caused heavy flooding.

Officials said torrential rains overwhelmed the Brahmaputra River, which flows through India and Bangladesh, causing

damage to crops and triggered mudslides that have displaced millions from their homes. Dozens of people remain missing.
