The owners of the derelict house where schoolgirl Ana Kriegel was murdered have axed plans for a nursing home on the site.
Two teenagers, identified in court only as Boy A and Boy B, were convicted of her murder in June last year. The council got in touch with planning consultants for the owners of Glenwood in late July last year saying they had agreed to provide a written programme of works within two weeks of a meeting held on July 15.
By August 23, the council appeared to be growing impatient but said it could extend the deadline to August 30. In December, the council was told works would be 90% completed by Christmas. According to the records, the meeting heard that if works were not completed to the council’s satisfaction, further inspections would take place.
