The one-year-old girl remains in a critical condition

Rudi KinsellaAn infant female child remains in critical condition following an incident that occurred at a property in the Castleblayney area of Monaghan on Sunday .

The child, aged one year old, was discovered in a water feature on the property and was air lifted to Temple Street Children's University Hospital.Gardaí have said that following initial enquiries, the incident is being treated as a tragic accident.
