MAN who received one of the mystery seed packages from China planted them on his property and said they produced a "large white fruit".
Several states have issued warnings about the seeds, with fears they may be invasive plant species that could seriously damage the US' ecosystem.Credit: YouTube / 5News Doyle Crenshawn, who lives in Booneville, Arkansas, planted the seed "just to see what would happen,"“Every two weeks I’d come by and put Miracle-Gro on it, and they just started growing like crazy,’’ Crenshawn said.Crenshawn planted the seeds despite urgent warnings from the Arkansas Department of Agriculture not to put them in the ground.
No one really knows for sure what the seeds are, although USDA is collecting seed packages from recipients and testing their contents. The agency will determine if they contain anything that could be of concern to US agriculture or the environment.
Anything from China is invasive 🤷♀️, especially this virus they spread
I ordered some plants from Amazon at start of lockdown. Took weeks to arrive and were just seeds! On the packet it stated the contents were Rose stud earrings!! Planted seeds but nothing came up. (I'm mot good gardener)
Corona fruit. They're delicious. I ate one on holiday in China. Felt a bit queasy for a few days afterwards, though, and people kept on dying all around me.
