'We’re barely surviving,' admitted Brandi Gee, 46, who lives in Warner Robins, Georgia. 'I’m scared we’ll end up sleeping on the streets. I don’t know if I’ll ever recover.'

The Trump administration said Tuesday it is implementing a national four-month moratorium on residential evictions. It goes into effect Friday and will run through Dec. 31, applying to individuals earning less than $99,000 a year and who are unable to make rent or housing payments. The move comes after Republicans and Democrats in Congress failed to reach a deal on another coronavirus rescue package.

“We are only delaying this huge build-up in rental debt and the precursor to eviction. We still need rent relief from Congress to solve the underlying economic conditions," says Gilman."Once rent comes due after the holidays, the circumstances for millions of Americans likely will not have changed." “The value many Black families have missed out on because they were impacted by systemic racism in housing could have been passed down to children and grandchildren, paying for things like higher education, childcare, starting a business and down payments on their own home," Taylor Marr, economist at Redfin, said in a note.

Homebuying is typically a spring and early summer affair, but this year it was delayed because of the pandemic, experts say. Roughly 59% of homeowners have already completed at least $500 worth of home upgrades during the pandemic or plan to before the end of the year, according to a recent survey from Bankrate.

Imagine if Biden was elected!

Maybe we shouldn't have shut the economy down. We didn't shut it down for h1n1 or SARS or any bad flu season. Too much politics involved. liberals are using this to make Trump look bad.

Saw someone outside local suburban supermarket with large sign, 'Lost job, need food. diapers.' First time I've seen this. A couple new thrift stores have just opened too.

Jobs are out there, apply for one.

There are jobs available... may not be what these people want, but they’re there. But these lower class Democrat’s in our society are lazy and want the government to just pay for them. LAZY!

Everything just needs to open up again

Trump's plan is to cause total chaos where end the end there will be a river of blood in the streets as he sits back and smiles at the carnage he's caused just for his own pathetic needs.

Just think of the money you wasted on sheets and paint for that stupid sign?

And YOU instigated this terror!

There are jobs. May not be what you had or want....but there are jobs available.

If only democrats hadn't denied individuals that extra $1200 unemployment bonus while they negotiated. A travesty.

This and lawlessness is what you get when you vote blue

While other countries are recovering from COVID here we have citizens in distress because of Trumps disastrous inability to lead & fulfil his oath of office What a LOSER! Many Americans are hurting TrumpVirusDeathToll186K

Democrats holding up Republican bills that would fix this because they want to make Trump look bad before election. Dems are politics over people. Vote Republican!!!
