PENDANG, Sept 5 — The Ministry of Housing and Local Government is looking into several projects to be developed in three districts in Kedah involving an estimated cost of RM28 million. “Among the proposed projects are the construction of a market in Taman Bersatu, Sungai Petani, to provide a trading space for traders there who have been operating on a site that has not been approved for more than 30 years.
She said that another project which is under study is the construction project of Dataran Pendang and upgrading Pendang Waterfront as an integrated centre for economic and tourism.
