A monstrous bidding war saw over 60 bids made in just over an hour and a half before one lucky property owner managed to snag a retail unit in Limerick for almost double the asking price

Having previously been occupied by Mothercare in the city and being just 150 metres off O'Connell Street, Limericks main shopping street, there was a huge amount of interest.By midday, that tag had risen to €496,000 as three bidders went back and forth.
