“What you want to ensure is that you can produce these vaccines in sites that could do it effectively, rapidly with the resources that are being made available to do it,” Fabien Paquette, told CTV News Channel’s Power Play on Friday.
Canada is still considering whether it will support a World Trade Organization motion to temporarily waive patents for COVID-19 vaccines. A group of MPs from all political stripes signed a letter calling on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to “eliminate all potential barriers to the timely access of affordable COVID-19 medical products.”He explains Pfizer’s stance in the video at the top of this article. The corporate headquarters of Pfizer Canada are seen Monday, November 9, 2020 in Montreal.THE CANADIAN PRESS/Ryan Remiorz
Ya, ok. They just don’t want to loose all the money they are making. It’s all about profits for these companies. They don’t care about humanity.
So what is their solution?
Not listing ingredients is awesome way to go! Free lab rat humans to experiment on!!! Wooohooo !!!! Good job!!!!
Pfizer ... - illegal & corrupt marketing practices - bribing physicians - suppressing adverse trial results ... habitually ... ?
I'm willing to take the Russian vax, not brainwashed to think they are evil
Lol shocking that they would say so!
Then do your part to insure that it is.
Where would we be today if this same thought process existed when the polio vaccine was developed?
Okaaaaaayyyyyyy, Pfizer.... How about manufacturing Pfizer vaccine somewhere else besides the 2 plants in the US and Belgium? Because you don't seem to want to do that either.
Perhaps we should secure a few doses before we piss off pfizer - just sayin....
Yeah says the company who's sales would dip if the patent went public
It is the solution, period. When you have a lot vaccines, inequality gaps will narrow. It’s when you don’t have enough, the rich countries get what they want, poor countries can only pray to whatever god they pray to.
Pfizer treated Canada well in the pandemic & as did the EU, unlike the US government. Bad idea to move on this w/o buy in from key vaccine developers & Europe. Some way should be found to make vaccine widely available. Infringing property rights isn't one of them.
Bill Gates doesn't want to give up the control and power over populations, Probably why Melinda finally said piss off She wants to help the world and He wants control and power big wealth
Excuse me while I look for my surprised face. I know I left it around here somewhere...
pfizer is one of many big Pharma umbrella corporations who think that controlling everything like the government is the only way to keep 'the sheep' in order. Who controls the government? Not the prime minister or the president.
No but is about money 💰💰💰💰💰
Haha. Funny man in fairness.
Lol yes my dog also doesn't think that allowing only one bully stick a day won't solve couch chewing.
If it allows other companies to manufacture more doses, do it!

Yes it is
People in the US live normal lives now. In Canada? Lol
It might be a solution to getting people vaccinated
the people who make lots of money from patents say that lifting patents is a bad idea
Also, it creates long-term objective not to attend too much on research. Politicians don't know what they're doing.
No, but it's a start.
