Sinn Féin has accused the Government of extending the time developers have to submit planning applications under the Strategic Housing Developments legislation , which is due to be replaced.
However, it led to a number of legal challenges and lengthy delays and so the Government decided to end the process. Sinn Féin's Housing spokesperson Eoin Ó Broin has raised concern over the amount of time the "deeply flawed" SHD system could potentially remain in place.
Only waiting for spin fein supporters to come out & criticise this. If SF got into government in the south the economy would be a mess.
