An early morning fire yesterday gutted an office complex of Spectrum Phones Limited at the popular Computer Village Ikeja, Lagos and destroyed property worth millions of Naira.

Sources said the fire started at about 3:00 a.m. at the shopping complex located at 18, Otigba Street, Ikeja.

The source said: “ As soon as the Fire Fighters were contacted, they arrived immediately. Policemen were also drafted there to protect the Firefighters and prevent hoodlums from gaining access to the complex. Confirming the incident, the Human Resources Manager of the firm, Adetunji Richard told The Guardian that police and firemen responded in time and prevented the whole complex from being burnt down.
