Richard Colbeck says he has to 'live with' his decision to attend the Ashes in Hobart instead of a COVID committee hearing into the Omicron spread in aged care homes.

like Omicron.

The committee's chair, Labor Senator Katy Gallagher, asked Senator Colbeck: "Why should you keep your job?""I was actually working the problems with the officials in the department to work to manage the issues in aged care, so it wasn't one thing or the other, I was actually working on both."Tasmanian independent Senator Jacqui Lambie sarcastically thanked Senator Colbeck for "showing up" to today's hearing as she began her questions.

Moore Bull Shit by the ABC.Just sick and very tired of the ABC

The far left ABC - the PR arm of the ALP/Greens. You can only expect far left bias, partisanship and spin from the far left ABC.

What we really need is constitutional reform…the pandemic has shown how dysfunctional our federal/state relations are. And the senate…great if you’re from Tasmania or South Australia

Oh it's the Ash Care Minister , another LNP hypocrite

Priorities. 😒

A couple of things. Nothing more mature than when you get caught using the excuse she did it too. Blundstone is literally in Collins electorate. This snoozers word choice? 'I made a decision and I'll have to live with' whilst the elderly he is supposed to look out for die

He should have resigned a year ago.

To be fair, we do have an ageing Test side 🤔

Disgusting

But isn’t he sports minister 🤡

As I said many times before. No one of this government would take any responsibility for any wrong doing. Those politicians elected by people but not doing things for the people. Shame on them. Hope this incompetent Minister will do the right thing that is TO RESIGN.

Our tax dollars pay for that Waster…? He’s gone…

How does he keep his job?, it’s a joke.

Three strike rule applies now?

People forget Colbeck did not only miss important meeting Months before COVID hit He was missing Where was he? No one saw him or heard from him PRE COVID has he another job?🤨

Just the WOAT!

no he doesnt, he didnt lose anyone in the farce, my mother was lucky to live through a covid infection in aged care, vaccines only occurred last wk, after giving consent in Oct. A family friend was buried yesterday from covid infection in aged care.

Looks like he belongs in old age care under the current system just to get his own medicine back;-)

I have not been able to visit my 90 year old dad for over a month - by my standards that is not a system coping.

As someone with a family member in aged care and in lockdown I find it very disappointing that the minister responsible ends up going to the cricket. He and the lnp have shown total disregard for fellow Australians. Roll on the next election. Bye Scomo.

The LNP and Scomo show their absolute disdain for older Australians just having this guy as the Minister - no tax received from the elderly

One dumb unit

Wots ScuMo doing about this? That's right, nothing.
