Around 29,000 homes and businesses remain without power this morning, as the third named storm in recent days passes

A Status Yellow wind warning for all of Ireland will come to an end at 10am, as Storm Franklin passes.This morning is set to be very windy, according to Met Éireann. The forecaster said winds will reach near gale force, with severe gusts expected.

Northern Ireland remains under a Status Yellow wind warning until 1pm, with strong winds expected to cause disruption tonight along coastal areas. Fewer than 500 homes remain without power following Storm Eunice, which brought bad weather on Friday.
