The devastation in the heart of the warzone in Mariupol has been described as a “genocide” with thousands dead and dozens of bombs dropped on a daily basis.

Russian forces continue to launch devastating airstrikes onto the key port city with about 30,000 civilians fleeing from the annihilated city.

Mariupol’s Mayor Vadim Boychenko unleashed on the invading Russian forces declaring the recent surge of bombing – including that of a theatre sheltering more than 1,000 people – was “genocide”.
