Selangor housing, urban well-being and entrepreneur development committee chairman Rodziah Ismail said the state was still finalising joint ventures with prospective developers.“Some developers have to apply for an amendment of the initial approval to fit the proposed project in the allotted area.
“The Covid-19 pandemic and the movement control orders also caused delays in the preparation of development plans by developers,” she said.Rodziah highlighted that three Rumah Idaman projects involving some 4,800 units were being built.“The project in Hulu Langat is 95% completed, while for Sepang and Kuala Langat both are 15% completed,” she added.
He said the Type A units under the Rumah Selangorku programme, priced at RM40,000 meant for those whose monthly income was below RM2,000, were no longer available.
This shows how backwards our country is.. Even the latest housing developments don't have the basics... Where's the sidewalk? Is there a bus stop included? Is there actually buses that will go to that bus stop? Not even a painted bicycle lane?
