A top Frisco rental community has been purchased by an Ohio-based property investor.

The Cadence apartments are part of the $1.8 billion Frisco Station mixed-use development on the Dallas North Tollway north of Warren Parkway. Opened by builder Hillwood in 2021, the Cadence apartments have 322 rental units in a five-story building. The project is next to the new office tower headquarters for Keurig Dr Pepper.

White Oak Partners of the suburban Columbus area bought the apartment community from a Frisco Station partnership headed by Hillwood. The apartments, which opened in September, include a co-working office space and conference room, a fitness center and an outdoor courtyard with a resort-style pool. An adjoining park next to the apartments was also expanded.Drew Kile, Joey Tumminello, Michael Ware, Taylor Hill, Jeff Kindorf and Will Balthrope of Institutional Property Advisors brokered the sale.
