Evacuation orders increased in central Texas on Friday as multiple wildfires fueled by high winds and dry conditions spread across 45,000 acres with minimal containment

Shifting winds resulted in authorities ordering the evacuation of around 475 homes in the city of Gorman, according to Inciweb, a service that shares fire reports from different government agencies.
