Mixed-use project with offices, housing aims to become a dining destination too

Now under construction on the Peninsula is, a 6.4-acre, mixed-use project that will bring residences, offices, outdoor space, retail businesses — and lots of restaurants — to Menlo Park.

The developer, Presidio Bay, hopes to create a new dining hub to appeal to prospective tenants of this project being billed as a Sand Hill Road 2.0 venture capital center. Most of the announced restaurants are San Francisco businesses expanding to Silicon Valley; one, Canteen, is a local product.This will be a new concept — think wine bar and casual bites — from chef Greg Kuzia-Carmel , who already has been wowing Menlo Park food lovers at his popular Camper restaurant on Santa Cruz Avenue.
