SAN JOSE — A residential development of hundreds of homes could rise next to north San Jose’s tech parks on the site of a decades-old office building, according to a very preliminary proposal on file with city planners.
“SummerHill Housing Group is fortunate to be in the unique position to be able to provide both high-quality rental and for-sale housing under one umbrella on this site,” Elaine Breeze, a senior vice president with Summerhill Apartment Communities, said in comments emailed to this news organization.The proposal is very preliminary and is being floated at City Hall as a way to gauge the reaction of city officials.
