Southlake City Council unanimously approved a zoning change at their May 3 meeting that opens the door for a new subdivision with homes costing $3 million each.

Called Rainey Court, the almost-five-acre subdivision will be made up of four residential lots, a single-entry cul de sac and sidewalks. According to city documents, each lot will average around 43,500 square feet, although the homes’ specifications, including square footage and room count, have not yet been determined.

The new homes will be located south of Bob Jones Road and west of North White Chapel Boulevard. The City Council voted to change the land’s zoning from agriculture to a single-family district.
