Saturday was Election Day in Texas, and in addition to decisions on local propositions and offices, Texans voted on two amendments to the state constitution. Check out the results in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio.

In San Antonio, voters were tasked with deciding on six bond propositions. All six of them passed. The most significant was Proposition F, which includes $35 million for rental housing and $45 million to help homeowners repair damaged homes.

Money generated by the bonds will additionally go to street, sidewalk and bridge improvements, as well as drainage and flood control projects.Keep in mind, the primary runoff election is Tuesday, May 24. Early voting begins on May 16 and concludes on May 20. Voters will decide on those races not determined in March, including the Republican race for attorney general.
