The fire broke out at around 7:15 a.m. at a home on Thrasher off of Montopolis.

The Austin Fire Department is investigating a fire that burned two homes and a shed in Southeast Austin Tuesday morning.

Greg McDaniel owns the Ponca Street property. He says it has been vacant for approximately one month. On Sunday around 11 p.m., his neighbor called and told him "he had cut the cord and someone had put nails in his tires." The fire broke out at around 7:15 a.m. at a home on Thrasher off of Montopolis in East Austin. FOX 7 Austin's Kelly Saberi has the details.
