The planning committee at Belfast City Council (belfastcc) approves a west Belfast greenway scheme despite calls for housing to be included in the development

Belfast City councillors have voted for the development of a greenway through the old Mackies site in west Belfast.

According to campaigners, some 7,500 families are homeless in Belfast, including more than 4,000 children.The proposal will go before a meeting of the full council to get final approval.

belfastcc Talking about greenways etc there is way to many golf courses all around Belfast. Some of them should be tourn into parks, forests, greenways etc that are open for public. I have three different golf clubs in my neihbourhood and only one, small park I can go with my kids.
