Homes may have no water, low pressure or discoloured water.

Engineers from Scottish Water are currently repairing the pipe on Roystonhill which is affecting residents in the G21 postcode area.

Due to complications, the repair is taking longer than anticipated, but work is expected to be complete at around 3pm. Householders are being warned to be aware that they may have no water, discoloured water or low or intermittent water pressure.A statement from Scottish Water says:"We are currently repairing a burst water pipe on Roystonhill which is causing the interruption to the water supply for customers in the G21 area of Glasgow.

"Due to complications with the repair, the estimated time for completion of the repair has been extended. The estimated time for repairs to be completed is now around 15:00hrs this afternoon."While we carry out the repair please be aware that you may experience no water supply, low/intermittent pressure or discoloured water.

"At present, we expect to complete the repair in a timeframe which means we do not plan to provide bottled water at distribution locations."
