The event is 6 to 11:30 p.m. It’s hosted by the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland NAACP, The Real Black Friday and Aramark. It’s an event that keeps growing and evolving. When it started it served as a way for restaurants to gain exposure and possibly get a foot in the door for the arena’s launch test kitchen in the lower-level concourse.
Restaurateurs from 20 local Black-owned food businesses will prepare signature dishes for attendees to sample, then vote upon based on quality, variety and presentation. Six local mixologists also will create and compete for the People’s Choice Drink of the Night.
