Nearly three years ago, Kayla Fraser Jacobs noticed a leak in her London Housing townhome's basement and mould growing on the carpet. She now believes it's the reason for her youngest children's respiratory issues.

Kayla Fraser Jacobs stands in front of her London Housing townhouse on Shelborne Street in southwestern Ontario, but she's been living in a hotel since July with her five children because of the condition of the unit.

Jacobs says her two youngest children have respiratory problems and have been in and out of the hospital.Jacobs's youngest children both have respiratory issues. Nuni, 2, has severe asthma and along with her 10-month-old sister, Sophia, is on daily medication and is being followed closely by respiratory specialists at London Health Sciences Centre .

According to Arnsby property manager Kyndall Fiest, Jacobs's case has now been closed, as the home has been properly remediated. According to early childhood educator Shelley Brine, "Over the last three months, my colleagues and I were quite concerned about Sophia and her respiratory health. Sophia would come to us with a congested chest daily.

How can she expect anything when she is paying less than $200/month. That won't even cover the utilities for the 6 people living there.

OK! REALLY! You do know that mould is a major issue, didn't think to clean it up, OMG, after three years, lucky he isn't in the hospital.
