Australian sprawl: why developing our way to affordable housing could backfireAs Queensland focuses on greenfield development to solve its housing crisis, critics say it won’t help the people most in need People really are whingers. Complain not enough housing, then complain because it is not cheap enough, close enough, good enough. If ppl need housing they will take it wherever it is built. How about re-zoning the farmland back to the native forests that were there originally instead of building ‘cheap’ houses that will likely no longer be needed in 50 years time due to a decline human population. I don't want any more agricultural land or wildlife habitat to be covered over with roofs and roads. And I don't want Australians to be forced to live in little flats in human termite mounds. So stop growing Australia's population.
