If it's anything like Vancouver homelessness is a problem that primarily afflicts men. To confirm that just go walk around after midnight and see who is sleeping rough - who is under the bridges, bushes, benches and in doorways - it's men. Been that way for many decades.

“Funding needs to come from all levels of government’ but that is the same taxpayer. Taxes are high enough. Every government program is underfunded. We cannot afford it all. Time to end some and focus on the important ones. Providing homes is not one of them.
