Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has said the coalition leaders will examine a proposal tonight from Minister for Housing Darragh O'Brien on a temporary ban on evictions, but the matter may not be decided by Cabinet tomorrow

He said the process would be to introduce a moratorium on notices to terminate, which would run until the end of March before being discontinued.
