Sky News Reporter Holly Edwards-Smith says life for people in Echuca has changed in a matter of days as sandbags line the streets and residents brace for flooding.

“The community effort here in Echuca has been absolutely breathtaking really, it’s hard to put into words how this small town have rallied around one another,” she said.

“And they’re going to continue to do so until the job is done, until every home and property is completely surrounded by sandbags and protected as much as it can until the Murray River peaks.”
