According to the Ogun State Police Command, the suspect and the deceased had been quarrelling over the property before he beat her to death.

He was subsequently traced to to Akinseku village, Abeokuta, where he had been hibernating, and was promptly apprehended.
He just poured his frustration on the woman for his incompetence as a man.
