KOTA KINABALU: Those who are not eligible to live in the People's Housing Project units will be evicted soon, said Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun .

Masidi said they were also aware that some had been renting out their units to others, to generate income. He was responding to a supplementary question by Moyog assemblyman Datuk Darell Leiking about the possibility of such incidents happening, based on allegations and hearsay from the public. Earlier, Masidi said that the PPR project was not meant for long-term stay but more as a transit home before residents can afford their own place.
