New apartments in the works for former Las Colinas office site

Rosewood Property purchased and demolished the former Allstate Insurance building in Las Colinas for the project.Developer Rosewood Property Co. has set an early 2023 start for a new Las Colinas rental community. The apartment project will be built on the site of the former Allstate Insurance office in Irving.The new owners knocked down the 46-year-old former insurance company building — the first office ever built in the Las Colinas development.

The project will take about two years to complete and was designed by architects Hensley Lamkin Rachel. Parts of the former Allstate site will also be used for future office construction, according to the zoning changes.set to begin next year. The Dallas-Fort Worth area is the country’s fastest0growing apartment market with more than 60,000 units on the way.
