The cheapest and priciest homes sold in Leeds last month have been revealed - and buyers can buy properties for just £40,000 in some parts of the city.
It wasn't much cheaper than another home sold in Winrose Drive in Belle Isle, which sold for just £5,000 more. Meanwhile on the other end of the scale the most expensive home sold in the city in December was in Manor House Lane near Alwoodley, going for £2,366,666. Average house prices across the UK increased by 10 per cent in the year up to May 2021 - the highest annual growth rate the UK has seen since September 2007, according to figures from the Office for National Statistics.
