The same holds true for commercial and industrial properties, with values about five to 20 per cent higher than last year’s assessments, with generally bigger increases in the Fraser Valley. For property assessment purposes, the Lower Mainland is defined as Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, the Sea to Sky area and Sunshine Coast.Article content

Condo and townhome values went up about 20 per cent in White Rock, Langley City and Abbotsford, with big increases also in Whistler , the Tri-Cities , Surrey , Delta and Maple Ridge .
