Police received approximately 20 reports of tires slashed or windows smashed on various streets during the overnight hours of Friday, Jan. 13 and early the next morning. Streets impacted included Catherine, Bell, North, Rankin, Seaview, Vet, Ward, Morrisville, Commercial, Maclean, York, Brookside, Marian, Murphy and McKeigan.Patrol officers spoke with all property owners and conducted neighbourhood canvasses for additional information and to review any available video surveillance. Forensic Identification officers also attended all properties to process further additional evidence.
Anyone with information about who might be responsible for the acts of mischief, or who saw or heard anything suspicious in these areas Friday night and Saturday morning is asked to please contact police at 902-563-5151 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
