The government must be pleased because they can continue to use landlords as a cash cow, with extra taxes every year ( all passed on to the tenants)

so is the quantity-homeless family increases under this lamentable excuse for a government is criminal

House price falls are not necessarily good news for buyers - people get locked into staying in their house (negative equity etc) supply falls & developers sit on land banks. More complex than a one dimensional solution.

It's staggering that people think house prices going up is something to celebrate the reason they're going up is because govts won't build enough homes to house the homeless it would be better for people if house prices fell 50 per cent then people could afford to buy

Good long may it continue.
