Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, have commended refugees, who voluntarily returned to their homes in Bama and Banki in Borno State from Cameroun, at the weekend.

They also thanked President Muhammadu Buhari, who directed the repatriation of the Persons of Concern to their homeland. Farouk recalled that Boko Haram ravaged the North East region, which forced them out to the foreign country, but thanked God that the situation has abated, as a result of the sacrifices of Nigerian soldiers and the determination of Governor Babagana Zulum and other stakeholders.

On her part, Sulaiman-Ibrahim, whose commission is saddled with the facilitation of their return to Bama and Banki, stated that although there is no place like home, their decision to return, having stayed in a foreign land for over 10 years with all the cares and warm reception from the host country, is laudable.
