Councillors have given the green light to a deal for the land where Gowanbank Primary School used to stand.
Gowanbank Primary closed in February 2018 and pupils were relocated to the new Gowanbank Campus on the site of the former Levern Primary. The housing co-operative, the main registered social landlord in the Pollok area, will take on a cleared site, close to Silverburn shopping centre, after, according to a council report, it “first intimated interest in the subject site in August 2018”.
