Minister for Aged Care Anika Wells says in December the Albanese government delivered a “key recommendation” of the royal commission with star ratings of aged care homes.

“Star ratings provide a nationally consistent benchmark to

monitor, compare and improve residential aged care services,” Ms Wells said.

Good idea as long as more costs aren't added to the industry. It is no good having the safest nursing homes if no body can afford them. I suppose having nobody in the nursing homes solves the abuse problem.
