Mounties seek alleged Taylor Beach rock-thrower after property sustains over $2,000 in damage

Posted: Feb. 20, 2023 4:02PMA suspect accused of throwing rocks at a property near Taylor Beach in Metchosin is shown in a surveillance image released by West Shore RCMP.

The incident took place at approximately 5 p.m. at the rear of a property located near the 500-block of Swanwick Road in Metchosin, which backs onto Taylor Beach, said West Shore RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Nancy Saggar in a news release Monday. The West Shore RCMP is now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
