Stockland Chief Executive Tarun Gupta says Stockland’s sales “continue to be strong” and have climbed back up to pre-COVID levels.

“We are seeing retail sales in our town centres continue to be strong over the half, they were up double digits to last year and also up double digits to pre-COVID levels,” he told Sky News Business

Reporter Edward Boyd.“What we are seeing is that in the housing market demand has moderated and we are in a cyclical downturn that you see every cycle, and the key issue there actually is affordability.”
