Millions of Cosori-branded air fryers sold across North America have been recalled over concerns they may be a fire risk.

The wire connectors on affected air fryers can overheat, potentially leading to the units to burn, causing them to be a fire hazard,The company has received 205 reports globally about air fryers catching fire, burning, melting, overheating and smoking, as of this month, according to Health Canada. The agency said there have been 56 reports of the same in Canada.

Minor property damage has been reported as well, with 23 reports filed globally. There have been 10 reports of minor, superficial burn injuries, with four reports in Canada, according to Health Canada. The agency said the company reported selling 252,828 units of the recalled product in Canada, 2,042,631 units in the U.S. and 21,490 in Mexico.Consumers are being urged to stop using affected products and to return it for a replacement unit by registering onor by calling toll-free at 1-888-216-5974 Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.

Model numbers can be found on the bottom label of air fryers or in the products’ user manual. Consumers can find the batch number either on the back of units near the rear exhaust vent or on the bottom of the unit.
