Toronto Regional Real Estate Board said home prices fell almost 18% from last February as the number of properties sold was halved. Read more

The trend has pushed some buyers to purchase a lower-priced home.

Overall sales remain far lower than they were a year ago, when the market was soaring, buyers dropped conditions and feisty bidding conditions were the norm. New listings also lag figures from a year ago, amounting to 8,367 in February. That number is down 41 per cent from a year earlier, but TRREB sees changes coming.

“This increased demand will run up against a constrained supply of listings and lead to increased competition between buyers,” he said in a news release.

How many people at National Post are making six figures? My bet is not too many. Point is you need an income of $200k to afford the cost of living in Toronto. The house prices are also 1.5 million and up, with atleast 20% down for houses over 1 mil. First home buyers are screwed

Housing prices have come down. No point voting for PierrePoilievre

And they rose by 28% the year before.

Long way to go

If you view any of this as a positive, if you think this is a sign of ' improvement' . Plz don't vote in the next election. You will be actually helping the country by abstaining.

So it's affordable now. Great news

So property taxes should go down, right?

Here come the bankruptcies...how many banks will we have to bail out this time?
